Gaming - Call of Duty 4 Beta US Only

Terrible news today, developers Infinity Ward have announced that the Call Of Duty 4 Beta will be USA only.

It's been made offical today that the forthcoming Call of Duty 4 multiplayer beta will be for US residents only. It comes as a big disappointment to fans outside the United States.

It's currently unknown why the beta will be US only and it's especially confusing since the recent Halo 3 beta was available worldwide. Infinity Ward have said of Call of Duty 4 that they "hope it is the best multiplayer experience of the year".

Was it their last word? There was some rumour about bringing the Beta to Europe, too.

Yeah, it was confirmed a few days ago. It may come to Europe for a week or 2 but I'm not holding my breath
